DOWNLOAD: Brooklyn Royalty Spring Collection 2010 Runway Mix

My friend Bob Bland, fashion designer, indie business owner and one-woman creative wrecking ball, released her new spring collection for 2010 for her label Brooklyn Royalty this week. The event was held at her studio, The Arsenal in Williamsburg, New York on 09.09.09.

I’ve done DJ sets for her before during other events held in her space. This was the first time I was asked to create a mix set specifically for her runway show. The mix contains three local bands from NYC that she chose. Her and I mesh so well because we share the same love of mixing many mediums together to create harmony through art. We’re quite the tag team!

This is the mix we came up with together featuring 3 local bands. This is the music the models walked out to. Bob feels this mix really captures the essence of what she wants her brand to express. I agree! It was a fun time and I hope you download this mix and strut around your home to it!
